RECRUITMENT TO THE POST OF ASSISTANT SUB-INSPECTOR
(STENOGRAPHER)

Applications are invited from Indian citizens for filling up the following posts:

• Assistant Sub-Inspector (Stenographer): 22 Posts
• Pay: PB-I, Pay Scale: Rs.5200–20200 + Grade Pay Rs.2,800/- per month.
• Age: Between 18 to 25 years (Cut off date for determining the age will be 25.07.2011)
• Qualification: 
• Intermediate or Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) examination from a recognized Board or University or equivalent.
• Dictation- 10 minutes @ 80 words per minute.
• Transcription- 50 minutes (English) on computer; or 65 minutes (Hindi) on computer. (c) Should have basic knowledge of computer application.
• Last Date: 25.07.2011 (01.08.2011 for candidates from far_flung areas)
