APPLICATIONS ARE INVITED IN THE PRESCRIBED FORMAT FOR POST OF ASSISTANT PROFESSOR (ENGLISH JOURNALISM) ON CONTRACT BASIS.

• ASSISTANT PROFESSOR (ENGLISH JOURNALISM) ON CONTRACT BASIS:
• No. of Post:  03 ( Two for Amravati and one for Aizwal)
• Qualification:
• Good academic record with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade where grading system is practiced at the Master’s Degree level in Mass communication/Journalism or related subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. 
• Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) or similar test accredited by the UGC. 
• Holders of Ph. D. degree as on the date of notication of these regulations along with those candidates who are awarded a Ph. D.  Degree through a process of admission, registration, course work and external evaluation as have been/or may be laid down by UGC through its regulations, shall be exempted from NET.
• Age: Below 40 years as on 01.07.2011   
• Remuneration: Rs.35,000/- per month consolidated.
