Applications are invited on plain paper for the post of Senior Research Fellow and Junior research fellow (purely on contract basis), for the project entitled “Development of English to Indian Language Machine Translation (EILMT) (English-Bodo)” Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, Delhi in the Dept. of Linguistics, NEHU, Shillong.

• Senior Research Fellow
• Essential: 
• M.A. in Linguistics/ Bodo 55% (relaxable as per government Rules for ST/ SC/OBC candidates).
• Ph. D/ M. Phil in Linguistics/ Bodo
• Excellent language skills in Bodo
• Junior Research Fellow
• M.A. in Linguistics/ Bodo/ Any other subjects with Excellent language skills in Bodo. 55% (relaxable as per government Rules for ST/ SC/OBC candidates.
• Apply with CV in standard format on or before 8th August, 2011 to the office. A Walk-in Interview will be held in the Department of Linguistics on 10th August, 2011 at 11.am.
