Applications in the prescribed form are invited for the following posts in the University so as to reach the Registrar of the University on or before 10-08-2011 by 4:00 PM. Candidates should possess the prescribed qualifications as on the date of this notification, and should have qualified (himself / herself) in the National Eligibility Test (NET) in the subject concerned for the post of Assistant Professor.

• ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR CADRE : Scale of Pay Rs. 37400 –67000+AGP 9000
• Human Development and Family Studies – SC–1 (2) Apparel & Textiles – ST-1 ; BC-C - 1
• ASSISTANT PROFESSOR CADRE : Scale of Pay Rs. 15600-39100+AGP 6000
• Extension Education – ST-1 (2) Resource Management and Consumer Sciences – ST-1 (3) Apparel & Textiles - ST-1
• QUALIFICATIONS: 
• Residential Medical Officer & Lady Medical Officer 
• Must have obtained the M.B.B.S. degree or an equivalent qualification as entered in the Schedule to the Indian medical Council Act, 1956, as subsequently amended.
• Must be permanent Registered Medical Practitioner within the meaning of Law for the time being existing in the State.
• Practical experience in a Clinic for 3 years.
• Scale of Pay Rs. 20680 - 46960 (2010 State Government Scales).
• Age:  Must not have completed 34 years of age as on 01-07-2010. Relaxable by 5 years in the case of SC/ST Candidates.
• ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR CADRE :
• Human Development & Family Studies (HDFS) :
• A Bachelor’s degree in Home Science (relaxable only in the case of in service teachers of ANGRAU).
• Ph.D. degree or any other equivalent doctorate degree in the subject (discipline) concerned.
• Experience not less than eight years in the cadre of Assistant Professor or equivalent cadre as on the date of advertisement.
• The Assistant Professor (Selection Grade Scale) and Associate Professor who are in the Pay Band of Rs.15600-39100 (in the revised UGC pay scales of 2006) can also apply.
• Should have good published research papers in Scientific Journals.
• Apparel and Textiles :
• A Bachelor’s degree in Home Science (relaxable only in case where candidates with Bachelor’s degree in Home Science are not available).
• Ph.D. degree or any other equivalent doctorate degree in the subject (discipline) concerned.
• Experience not less than eight years in the cadre of Assistant Professor or equivalent cadre as on the date of advertisement.
• The Assistant Professor (Selection Grade Scale) and Associate Professor who are in the Pay Band of Rs.15600-39100 (in the revised UGC pay scales of 2006) can also apply.
• Should have good published research papers in Scientific Journals.
• ASSISTANT PROFESSOR CADRE :
• (1) Extension Education (2) Resource Management and Consumer Sciences (RMCS) (3) Apparel & Textiles
• A Bachelor’s degree in Home Science.
• A Master’s degree in the subject (discipline) concerned with atleast 55% marks or its equivalent grade. 
• Should have passed SSC examination or any other equivalent examination with Telugu as one of the subjects or should have studied SSC through the medium of Telugu or should have working knowledge of Telugu.  (Relaxable in the case of in-service teachers of ANGRAU).
• NET Qualification in concerned discipline

The duly filled-in application forms together with attested copies of certificates etc., and a Demand Draft towards Registration fee drawn on any Nationalized Bank in favour of “COMPTROLLER, ANGRAU, HYDERABAD” payable at Hyderabad should reach the Registrar, Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad – 500 030 on or before 10-08-2011 by 4:00 P.M.
