Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education (ICFRE) invites applications from Indian Nationals fulfilling the prescribed qualifications for appointment (Recruitment 2011) to the under mentioned post:

• Scientist-B
• Total No. of Posts: 13 (Unreserved- 06, Reserved for SC-03, ST- 02, OBC-01 and PH- 01).
• Pay scale and allowance: Pay scale of PB-3:-Rs.15,600-39,100 with Grade Pay Rs.5,400/- p.m. plus allowances as admissible under the rules/orders of the Government of India.
• Description of duties: To conduct research in the relevant field of forestry in ICFRE Institutes.
• Age Limit : 30 years (as on 15.09.2011).
• Disciplines: 
• SFE (Forest Ecology): 03 Posts
• SEM (Environment Management): 02 Posts
• SCT (Chemistry): 01 Post
• SSTS(Statistics): 01 Post
• SIT(Information Technology): 01 Post
• SHYD (Hydrology): 05 Posts
