EMPLOYMENT NOTIFICATION NO. REC/2012/03
West Bengal State Electricity Transmission Company Limited (WBSETCL) a wholly-owned profit-making Government of West Bengal Enterprise, engaged in the business of Power Transmission throughout the state of West Bengal with employee strength of around 3,000 and annual turnover in the region of ` 1000 crores invites applications from Indian nationals to fill up the following vacant posts immediately.
ADDITIONAL GENERAL MANAGER (FINANCE & ACCOUNTS)
In the pay band of ` 37,400/- to ` 67,000/- with Grade Pay of ` 8,700/- (Approx Gross Salary: ` 86,000/-) No. of Post: 1 (Unreserved)
Qualifications: Full time graduate in any discipline with AICWA / ACA Minimum Experience: Post qualification experience of 19 years or more in Management position in Finance and Accounts department in a large organization preferably Power Generation / Transmission / Distribution organization in a professional environment,
out of which at least 3 years experience in senior position (at least in the 3rd line of cadre hierarchy) with experience in Budgeting, Final Accounts, Auditing & Cash Management. He must have sufficient knowledge and experience in handling all facets of Finance and Accounts Function independently. Knowledge of ERP accounts transition or working in ERP / SAP environment will be an added advantage.
Other facilities: In addition to Basic Pay & DA, GP, HRA, Medical Allowance, Electricity Allowance, LTC / HTC, EPF, Gratuity, liberal benefits for indoor treatment in leading hospitals for self & dependants, leave & leave encashment, pick-up & dropping facility (on payment of nominal charge) for to and fro office journey and other benefits like House Building Loans, Children Education Expenses, reimbursement of Professional Fees as per the rules of the Company are admissible. Candidates from PSU will be allowed their retirement benefits and pay protection they are entitled to in their present employment.

Age limit: The age limit is between 45-55 years as on 01.09.2012. Age however, may be relaxed for exceptionally deserving candidates.
Other conditions: Selected candidates will be appointed in the regular pay scale, initially on probation for a period of one year and on satisfactory completion of probationary period they will be confirmed in regular post. The decision of the Management for confirmation is final and binding. Candidates must have adequate knowledge for communication in English / Bengali / Nepali. Candidates from Govt. / PSUs are required to submit the application through proper channel or submit NOC before interview.
